    A stamping die is a unique accuracy tool, which is used to form metal sheet and cut it into a particular shape. Dies include cutting and forming sectors that are usually made from specific hard steel, identified as tool steel. These cutting and forming sectors can also be created from various hard ware-resistant materials such as carbide. Stamping is a cold-forming method, in which heat is used on purpose into neither the die nor the sheet.
