How Do Essential Oils Work

From the distillation by water vapor, essentials oils are the distilled essence of aromatic plants. They are useful in everyday life and in many areas. While essential oils do not replace medical treatment, they can help relieve some symptoms.

One of the most versatile and balancing the oils (soothing, astringent, hemostatic) is geranium rosat. It is useful for the skin (wrinkles, eczema, stretch marks), it is also a circulatory tonic.

True lavender is superbly antistress, calming, sedative, anti-depressing but also healing and regenerating for the skin. The mandarin tree helps fight stress and insomnia. The EO of its zest is a sedative. The HE of its small grains is considered calming and antidepressant.

The marjoram is exemplary against nervousness and cedar Atlas and a good remedy against cellulite. The cypress is the most effective when it comes to promote optimal blood circulation. Venous congestions attenuate or even disappear (heavy legs, varicose veins). Cypress also fights coughs.

The double anti-pain and anti-round cap makes juniper particularly attractive to women. The marjoram would be exemplary against the problems of nervous origin. The sweet orange has relaxing benefits. Its familiar scent is reassuring, soothing. Camphor rosemary is both an excellent muscle relaxer, a venous decongestant. It stimulates the liver and kidneys. It is derived from Madagascar, Reunion and the Comoros.

Ylang-ylang, on the other hand, is very popular with perfumers and aromatherapists for its soothing virtues. It can can reduce stress, fight depression. One of his powers would be, yes, to promote the pleasure of the senses.

The mixture of essential oils must not contain more than three different oils.
