Factors That Lead To One Having Strong And Healthy Bones.

It’s important to maintain bone health because they help in shielding organs, storing calcium, securing muscles, and providing structure. Healthy bones are built during the early stages of life like adolescence and childhood, while in adulthood one can take the necessary measures to ensure that they are protected.

There are several factors that influence how healthy bones are and they include;

Hormone level

This is when too much thyroid hormone in the body might lead to loss of bones while a low level of estrogen in men and women especially during menopause leads also to bone loss.

Medication

Drugs used to treat breast cancer or seizure may also lead to a decrease in bones while people who have conditions like anorexia or who have had stomach surgery, weight loss surgery, or celiac disease may also experience loss of bone. this is because the procedures have already interfered with how the body absorbs calcium.

Women have a higher chance of experiencing bone loss because they have less bone tissue than men. Another factor is body size, this is because people who have small bodies have less bone structure and therefore as they age, they might experience bone loss.

Physical activity

This is where people who exercise regularly have healthy bones than those who don’t.

Some of the things that contribute to healthy bones include;
