Using state-of-the-art techniques such as advanced mathematical and statistical analyses, known as (EEG) Quantitative EEG and (LORETA) low-resolution electromagnetic tomography, which then can and does at all times determines that whether a computer data recorded brain pattern information is actually reflecting a healthy or an abnormal brain function or computer readout in a patient
What happens during such a N I T session?
In the Neuro Integration Therapy Treatment Room
By being a very safe and non-evasive procedure to the patient having the EEG, a cap with sensors and multiple special electrodes placed on their head, which is applied with a special kind of gel, which will help it work more effectively, and connected to a computer to do all data readings while the session is in progress.
The patient is then placed in a nice and quiet yet relaxing but comfortable room and private, where they will play video for the patient and the EEG computer records the brain activity while the patient watches the video and will keep playing if the brain activity is within normal levels or have normal level reactions and brain activity.
This information recorded by the computer is then compared with normative database comparisons and the video keeps playing, but if the normal or abnormal brain activity falls outside the normal database the video stops, and the data is once again reviewed against normal and abnormal brain feedback activity and is measured.
Once this happens patients can come back for more sessions to see if there are improvements or worsening.
They are then counseled in with more neurofeedback sessions and are taught to regulate brain function to be more optimal and manage their emotional and mental state more efficiently and in a more stable way. which increases their em optional state and well being
This neurofeedback therapy can assist in improving a number of symptoms especially clinically such as;
- 1- Anxiety and depression mismanagement processing and getting through it
- 2 – Emotional in mood swings management and control
- 3 – Discomfort and a distressful general reduction in levels that may cause even further distress.
- 4- Focus and attention increasing abilities throughout the whole process
- 5 – Handling and realizing there are risks in relapse and how to deal with it using healthy and adopting behaviors that will prevent these triggers.
What types of patients normally receive Neuro Integration Therapy?
Not everyone is cut out to be treated or receive this type of treatment as it is not right for everyone even though it is a new and exciting way to deal with addiction and its circumstances.
