Facebook is an attractive marketing option for advertisers because it provide options for high targeting of users; that is, the ability to target specific people based on their interests or demography. Facebook also allows you to group this targeted people into what it calls ‘audiences’.
A Facebook audience can be created from a list of your customers, a list of people who visit your website or people that have engaged with your content. Once you have created an audience you can share this audience with another Facebook user and in exchange they share their audience with you. Note, though, that Facebook does not allow you to sell your audiences to other users or businesses.

To be able to share audiences you, and the person you are sharing the audience with, must be signed up to Facebook Business Manager. To share an audience all you need to do is go to the Audiences section, check the box against the audience you want to share, click the Actions drop-down menu and click Share. You will then be prompted to enter the advertising account ID or the name of the person you want to share your audience with. You can also set permissions so that the person you’re sharing your audience with can access insights about the audience as well as targeting them or only be able to target advertisements to that audience.
Sharing your audience is a great way to increase your potential customer base by finding people that share similar interests to you or are targeting the same audience. Facebook also provides many other features for targeting customers within an audience such as demographics, interests and other elements. Facebook also provides a rich array of analytics data that you can use to see where your advertising efforts were successful: it provides real-time reports and analytics on the performance of your campaigns that are updated in real time. You can also view your social metrics and conversion rates as well as numbers on page likes, post engagement, weekly reach and advert performance among others.
Audience share Facebook is a far better way of reaching audiences than simply using organic posts for your marketing efforts.
