The Best Places To See On An Egypt Tour

Unlike other countries, Egypt has preserved its history incredibly well. Its ancient monuments and relics provide a detailed account of the history of the country. In fact, there are over 5,000 years of recorded history in Egypt. This makes it a fascinating place to visit, whether you’re visiting for pleasure or for business.

Luxor

Luxor has a number of sites to see that are worthy of your attention during your Egypt tour. Visit the Valley of the Queens to see the tomb of Queen Nefertari. This is a unique tomb site where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried. King Thot-Mosis, the first of the pharaohs, separated his tomb from the normal burial temple and ordered his body to be buried in secret.

Aswan

Aswan is a thriving riverside city and a great place to experience Egyptian culture and history. Throughout history, it has acted as the country’s gateway to Africa. It is home to a wide variety of landmarks, including the mighty Abu Simbel Temple, the Philae Temple, and the High Dam. The city’s jaw-dropping location on the Nile also contributes to its attraction as a travel destination. For example, one of the most popular things to do in Aswan is to explore the historical, cultural, and architectural treasures of the Ptolemaic Dynasty at the Philae Temple, one of the best-preserved temples of the Ptolemaic Period.

Dahab

Dahab is a small town located in the Sinai Peninsula, approximately 80 km northeast of Sharm el-Sheikh. It was once a Bedouin fishing village but is now one of Egypt’s premier diving destinations.

Alexandria

If you’re looking for the perfect place to relax, Alexandria is a great choice. The city is known for its wonderful seafood and offers many restaurants within walking distance. The old part of Alexandria is an excellent place to see if you’re on an Egypt tour.

Giza Pyramids

When you are exploring your Egypt tours, you will have the chance to visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. While you’re there, be sure to bring plenty of water. It can get very hot inside the pyramids, so be sure to pack three liters of water for each person. If possible, keep the water in a thermal bottle. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreens as well. Also, you’ll want to wear sunglasses. The heat and humidity can make it difficult to stay cool, and you’ll want to keep your eyes protected from the glare of the sun.

Nubian Museum

The Nubian Museum is an archaeological museum in Aswan, Upper Egypt. It was built by the International Campaign to Save Monuments of Nubia and designed by Mahmoud El-Hakim. It contains many artifacts and has an excellent collection of Egyptian art.
